I have to agree what someone said a few days ago about the jw.org logo. It does definitely look like a rigid blue box, firm, restrictive.

Thanks Terry a lot for this. Yeah, I see that frozen moment from time to time of that man with the building in the background. You wonder what he must have felt, whether just a few seconds of freedom???? but yeah, maybe a sense of defiance against a faceless jihad which may have felt liberating I'm sure. -

I agree with you. The no clanking of glasses rule must have obviously been a way of keeping different from people of the ''world''. No different from keeping ''the brotherhood'' different from celebrating holidays, birthdays, etc,etc.....

Another one I couldn't understand is the wishbone when eating a chicken. I mean when you get a chicken you get the wishbone eventually. Just jokingly I said a few times ''hey a wishbone, let's see who gets the better of it'', then you get that disappointed, ''hey, no'', with kind of disgusted look. -

bottom line on new generation thinking -very simple

I could just never understand how the Dubs weren't allowed to clink or clank wine glasses or drinks together before enjoying a meal or drink
